![]() I'll leave it to others to suggest what to go with, except to warn you away from a mounting system which allows you to see the iron sights through a "tunnel" under the scope. Browse the SWFA store pages under Rings and Bases to get more of an idea of the different styles available. Burris makes turn-in, windage- adjustable rings that fit Leupold turn-in bases. For example, Leupold PRW rings fit on Weaver cross-slot bases, as do Burris' ZEE rings, as do some of Warne's rings. ![]() Many brands of rings are interchangable among the different manufacturers' bases as long as the same style is used. A compatable set of rings is then fastened to the base by various means. (If the gun is not drilled, you will need to take it to a gunsmith.) The base must be manufactured for that model or model family of rifle. Generally speaking, a base is screwed onto the rifle's receiver into the holes that are drilled and tapped into it. The bad news is that it can be very confusing to choose one because of that very fact. You probably have about as many mounting options available for that rifle as there are for any model ever made.
